Something’s been stirring in St James. Long a favourite with the London art world, in recent months the area’s elegant streets have been positively humming with new restaurant buzz.

The latest addition to this growing food destination? Avenue – which opens its doors today. Boasting stunning interiors designed by Russell Sage and an innovative contemporary-American menu from Head Chef Michael Blizzard, Avenue should bring a shot of Manhattan-inspired glamour to Mayfair.
