News | January 27, 2014

Wender Weis Foundation for Children (WWFC) presented its fourth annual Holiday Heroes event at AT&T Park in San Francisco on December 9, where Jennifer and Joe Montana were honored with the organization’s first-ever Inspiration Award. The Montanas were honored for their philanthropic efforts and positive impact on the community through their Four Rings Montana Family Foundation. Upon receiving the award, Jennifer and Joe Montana said to Haute Living, “We are so grateful to be honored with the inaugural Inspiration Award at Holiday Heroes! Our first time we worked with the Wender Weis Foundation for Children was 17 years ago and it is so nice to come back and work with such a great organization.” At the fun-filled event, adults and kids of all ages had the opportunity to meet local athletes such as U.S. skier Jonny Moseley, U.S. figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi and San Francisco Giants relief pitcher George Kontos.
