Miami Architect Rene Gonzalez’ 50th Birthday Extravaganza

I have so many incredible, interesting and talented friends. One of them is mastermind Architect Rene Gonzalez, who I met years ago. Not only am I enamored by his works, I adore him as a person. Humble and kind, last night over three hundred of Miami’s creative set and le glamorous gathered for Rene’s 50th birthday party at CU-1. With the theme “Come as You Are, or Wanna Be,” guests were asked to dress in their fantasy outfits-costumes with the invitation outlining the evenings guidelines, stating “the energy being created by Jose Zaldivar of Fiction Events for the party, it may be something like… Animalesque Outrageous Glamour – Fur – Feathers – and … some revealing Flesh is encouraged!”

The celebration was the most grand dance party that ever hit this city. Guests including Iran Issa Khan, Nina Johnson, Milan Vukmorovic, Eva Hughes, Barbara Becker, Criselda Breene, Suzy Buckley, John Lin, Robert Wennett, Mario Cader-French, Edison Lozada, Zurami Pascual, Lauren Foster and Michael Tomei partied to old school disco tunes from the 70’s to today. Rene also had a Madonna impostor perform hits from the old Immaculate Collection album. It certainly was a night to be remembered.
