Dori’s World: Women’s International Zionist Organization Event
The other day I went to The Pierre, where Fortune Dushey was honored for her involvement with the Women’s International Zionist Organization. WIZO is a non-profit group of volunteers in over 150 countries who work to provide social welfare services to families living below the poverty line and to improve the lives of women, children and the elderly in Israel through a network of schools, day care centers, homes for battered women and centers. So many people came out for the event including Amanda Lederman Zacharia, Gabby Nakash, Tanya Sueure, Erica Karsch, Nina Rennart Davidson, Tamie Rennart Davidson, Nina Shapiro, Grace Dayan, Liz Maidman and Stephanie Hirsch.
