What’s On My Desk: Flexjet President Deanna White
Ever wonder what the most powerful leaders, business execs and celebrities keep on their desks? Well, we’re about to tell you. Our biweekly “What’s on My Desk” feature will take a look inside the offices and at the desks of the world’s most influential power players.
This week we’ve featured Deanna White, the CEO of Flexjet, the Richardson, Texas-based division of Bombardier. She joined Flexjet in 2005 as Director, Finance, was promoted to Senior Director, Finance in 2007, and in 2010 was promoted to Vice President of Finance and Administration. Here is a look at the items on Deanna’s desk:
– A photo of Bennett, my son.
– A red “think outside the box” puzzle. A Flexjet employee team came up with this idea as a way to remind us daily to be creative and always look for new ways to do things.
– Apple and Water – One of my philosophies is you need to put your oxygen mask on first before you can help others. The apple and water are my oxygen. By taking care of myself first, I can then give my best, both personally and professionally.
– iPhone – I live by my schedule. I would be grounded if I didn’t have a portable way to keep up with my ever-changing schedule.
