Team USA’s gold medal-winning soccer team dined at Sugar Factory American Brasserie at Paris Las Vegas on Thursday night.
Shannon Boxx, Rebecca Sauerbrunn, Heather Mitts, Heather O’Reilly and Rachel Buehler sipped on a red, white and blue medley of Berry Bliss, White Gummi and Ocean Blue candy goblets to start their evening.
The team, celebrating Buehler’s bachelorette party, dined family-style with a round of appetizers including bruschetta and mini turkey burgers and shared four cheese pizzas and steak frites for their main course. For dessert, the ladies shared Sugar Factory’s signature chocolate fondue, and over-the-top strawberry cheesecake and chocolate blackout ice cream sundaes.
After dinner, the athletes headed to Sugar Factory’s flagship retail store and enjoyed chocolate gold medals in honor of their Olympic victory. Boxx and Mitts picked out creamy orange and cherry Couture Pops, while Sauerbrunn, O’Reilly and Buehler filled up tins of their favorite candies, which included: Runts, Now-N-Laters and white chocolate covered gummy bears. The group drew a large crowd as they stopped to take photos and signed Sugar Factory merchandise for fans.
