UK Businessman Shells Out $315,000 On World’s Most Expensive Champagne Bottle

News | March 12, 2012

A UK businessman spent $315,000 on the world’s most expensive bottle of champagne—a Nebuchadnezzar of Armand de Brignac Midas.

This bottle of epic proportions has stopped the show at two previous events: a Las Vegas party and the other by “The Champagne King” Johnson in UK. It weighs 45 kilograms and had to be carried off the trader’s table at the Liverpool club Playground by staff members.

The businessman racked up an enormous $372,000 bill and paid a $30,000 tip. The man, who is said to be a foreign exchange currency trader in his twenties, was said to be very generous to everyone in the VIP room and doled out shots to every lady in the club.
