Dr. Gary Motykie (one of the “Dr. 90210” physicians that worked some special surgery magic on E!) recently took it to the street – and opened a beauty/medi spa on the first floor of 9201 Sunset in Bev Hills, aptly entitled, MBeauty Spa.

RN Brooke Barlow is who you need to see for the latest in the non-invasive world of beauty. Known throughout town — and a favorite of many a celebrity that you would never know had any ‘work’ done — Brooke was on hand recently to expose show me her favorite new procedure — the Alma Harmony Laser. It’s kind of like having an ultrasound (something you men are probably totally unfamiliar with) and is ideal for targeting those telltale signs of aging, including jowl and neck laxity, sagginess under the eyes, droopy brow lines, and nasolabial folds. Deep dermal heating induces neocollagenesis resulting in an increase in skin firmness — and best of all, it doesn’t hurt!
The near infrared ST handpiece delivers uniform energy distribution and effectively targets lipids and connective tissue. It exerts its biological effect on the skin through two major mechanisms, heat-induced collagen shrinkage and micro-thermal injury as well as dermal regeneration, repair (healing) and remodeling.
