Would You Buy The $100,000 Louis Vuitton Toilet?
Louis Vuitton is something you wear, but also something you can buy to sit on…and you know.
The Louis Vuitton toilet was created by artist Illma Gore based off simple wonderment.
“I wondered what 15k of authentic Louis Vuitton bags looked like as a fully functional toilet, so I made this,” she said on Instagram.
It took Gore three months to complete the luxurious toilet. She used 24 different handbags valued at a total of $15,000 plus a $3,000 suitcase. Each piece was sourced from the designer resale site Tradesy.
If you’re looking for a lavish way to do your business, the gold-plated leather potty is the piece you’re missing out on.
Gore is no stranger to controversial art. She is the artist behind the nude portrait of the President Donald Trump titled “Make American Great Again”.
The fully functional toilet is on display at the online retailer’s brick-and-mortar showroom in Santa Monica. It is available for purchase if you have $100,000 laying around.
