Le Méridien Hotels Partners With LEGO For Family-Friendly Packages

Le Méridien announced its partnership with the LEGO Group to offer its guests the first feature of the Le Méridien Family program.

The LEGO Welcome Amenity will debut this fall and is available to children checking-in to any of its more than 100 hotels and resorts worldwide. It will focus on highlighting and inventing new and fun experiences for the entire family by inspiring imaginations and unlocking local destinations for the enjoyment of both the parents and the children.

“Our exclusive partnership with the LEGO Group encourages families to unlock their destination through imaginative free play, strengthening bonds and creating memories that are sure to last, and the LEGO amenity sets the tone for this upon arrival at our hotels,” Senior Vice President, Global Brand Leader for Le Méridien and Westin, Brian Povinelli said in a recent press release.

The family friendly features start with new toys for the kids! Children ages five through 12 years of age will receive a 45 piece LEGO Go-Kart Racer set, and children 18 months through five years of age will receive the six piece DUPLO Snail set. Each child will also get a personalized “Ready, Set, Play!” welcome card, customized with each child’s name.

“Travel broadens a child’s perspective of the world, expanding inherently curious and creative-minds,” Senior Vice President, Global Brand Leader for Le Méridien and Westin, Brian Povinelli said in a recent press release,” Povinelli said.

This new luxe, family friendly amenity is just in time for families wanting to travel before the school year starts. The children will not only have a surprise waiting for them when they enter the luxury hotels, but will also have a toy as a keepsake to take home from their travels.

“At the LEGO Group, creativity and exploration are essential, and we recognized in Le Méridien a similar spirit and mentality,” Senior Product Manager for Merchandise & Promotions, the LEGO Group Soren Borup said. “We are pleased to partner with this global hotel brand to offer their exclusive Welcome Amenity for families, enabling more children across the world to get a hands on LEGO building experience.”

The partnership with LEGO creates a perfect atmosphere for both the children and the parents at Le Méridien hotels. While the children are playing with their toys and new, fun sets, the parents can enjoy the décor of the rooms along with the several other amenities and services offered by the posh brand.
