The past few months have been a whirlwind, but they’ve been fun! The school year ended today with RJ’s graduation and awards ceremony at Ransom. RJ is truly blessed to be part of such an amazing school with some of the finest teachers and most accomplished students. Later I had my favorite salad in the world- the Globe Salad in Coral Gables. I will surely miss it while we get ready to spend some time on the West Coast this summer! Stay tuned, I’ll be sharing stories of all our family adventures. I am very blessed to have my amazing team enjoy and take care of our home while we’re away and get in a little rest and relaxation for themselves this summer too.
My home has been under renovation, but we’ve had the benefit of having dream team, Hernan Arriaga and team, for the interiors. Soon I hope to share a photo with you all of the most amazing ballroom created and designed by some of the most creative minds in the world!
The last week was crazy busy. We had an extremely productive and fun event at My Spa at the Hotel International in Downtown Miami for the official launch of my new Lea Black Signature Beauty Collection and for the re-packaging of the popular Sudden Youth Facial Kit. We shared the facial kit and demonstrated the new skincare line with a fabulous group of guests who where over the moon with the instant results they saw and felt. Later, it was on to Rene Ruiz Designs, the most beautiful couture dress boutique in Coral Gables, for the launch of my new Crystal Collection “After 5” Handbag line. We were surrounded by beautiful dresses, all designed by Miami’s own Rene Ruiz, and beautiful people. The ladies loved the blinged-out bags and the reviews exceeded any expectations! All in all a great night and a wonderful success!
To end the season and start summer right- I decided to have a small party in our newly decorated ballroom with our decorators who were so deserving of the celebration. It should be fun! My friend John Rich, the fabulous Country superstar and winner of Celebrity Apprentice, is coming and perhaps we can nudge him to perform a couple of songs!
