With a direct line to Hollywood, he knows how the stars will be celebrating that evening—so we trust his advice when it comes to teaching us how to throw our own Golden Globes party.

Other tips? Don’t be afraid to have your friends walk the red carpet upon arrival, and a bubble machine goes a long way when it comes to fun, and to encouraging even more bubbly to be poured as the evening goes on.
