Bronson van Wyck’s Golden Globes Party Planning Tips

Bronson van Wyck threw P Diddy’s “Party of the Century” 40th birthday, has worked with Beyonce and Martha Stewart, Presidents Obama, Bush and Clinton (on State Dinners) and Golden Globe-nominee Hugh Jackman. With a direct line to Hollywood, he knows how the stars will be celebrating that evening—so we trust his advice when it comes to teaching us how to throw our own Golden Globes party.

If you’re in the crowd for the globes, the evening seems to fly by thanks to overflowing glasses of the evening’s Champagne sponsor, Moet & Chandon, so take note and offer the same things to your guests, in addition to food that follows the theme of some of the years nominated pictures.

Bronson suggests cucumber sandwiches in honor of the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel; Lobster tarts for the New England-based Moonrise Kingdom, or Illinois salted caramel corn for presidential flick, Lincoln. Other tips? Don’t be afraid to have your friends walk the red carpet upon arrival, and a bubble machine goes a long way when it comes to fun, and to encouraging even more bubbly to be poured as the evening goes on.
