The Scene: Conard House Gala

News | March 18, 2012

Held at the historic Bently Reserve, the Conard House hosted its annual gala benefitting its five-year $2.5 million personal health initiative. The hautest of the haute attended the event meant to raise awareness for mental illness and other chronic conditions.

The mistress of ceremonies, ABC7/KGO TV’s Cheryl Jennings kept the party going as the night’s revelry kicked off with a silent auction. Guests, dressed to the nines, noshed on delectable hors d’oeuvres and sipped signature cocktails. Following the silent auction, a five-star dinner was served and a luxurious live auction commenced. By the end of the night, the gala raised $90,000 for the Conard House and its fight against mental illness.

In attendance were Conard House Executive Director Richard Heasley, keynote speaker Alex Kutik, Conard House Treasurer Judith Graboyes, Conard House Board Chairman James L. McGhee, Marilyn Cabak, Sam Leftwich and Heather Saal.
