Rumor has it that the hip indie boutique hotel chain Ace Hotel is set to open in downtown Los Angeles. The Ace Hotel will open in United Artists building on Broadway in the area’s Historic Core district.
The building first open in 1927 and used to host world premieres for studio films from United Artists founders Douglas Fairbanks, D.W. Griffith and Charlie Chaplin.
The hotel will redo and reactivate the theater making it the attraction of their hotel.
