On November 11th, Irish rock pub Rock & Reilly’s opened its first US watering hole on the Sunset Strip in LA, in the London Fog bar space where Jim Morrison and The Doors once resided as the house band.
Those behind the drinking den include Charlie Walk, Adam Frank, Cisco Adler, Rob Weiss and Tony DiSanto
Rock & Reilly’s boasts the largest stock of Irish whiskey in Los Angeles with a collection of 45 exclusive and hand selected Irish varaieties ranging from Reilly’s Mother’s Milk Private Label Whiskey at $9 to the very rare Midleton at $35.
Therock pub also features a dozen authentic Irish beers straight from Dublin and is the only place in Los Angeles to offer Magner’s Irish Cider on tap; all of which are available in half-and-half flights served in mason jars.
Offering an assortment of reinvented traditional Irish pub grub, Executive Chef Shad Davis, has created a menu modern twists for lunch and dinner as well as a traditional Irish Breakfast daily including Irish Nachos, Irish Cheddar Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup, Whiskey Bingo Wings and the pub’s signature Famous Four Group Mac & Cheese.
Vintage rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia cover the exposed brick walls of the two-story, 2,500 square-foot space for edgy East Coast vibe with an Irish touch. Other cool additions include Vintage rock ‘n’ roll an antique photo booth and fully functioning suspended whiskey barrel overhead.
The mezzanine, known as “Reilly’s attic,” is home to a steel iron fireplace surrounded by vintage couches and copper lamps while the finished backyard, Reilly’s Patio, offers a secluded area for guests to enjoy their drinks under the stars.
