The Golden Nugget hosts its first annual Fall Beer Festival during a two-day event tonight and tomorrow. This two-day festival brings together consumers, craft beer vendors, live music, great food and hundreds of beers in two very different events.
The first event kicks off with the Great American Craft Beer Tasting sponsored by Samuel Adams from 7 to 10 p.m. tonight. Sample more than 300 craft beer selections from 25 breweries and enjoy chef-inspired appetizers such as sliders, wings and sausages while listening to live music and mingling with some of America’s award-winning brew masters. One of the highlights of the evening will be the traditional “tapping of the kegs” featuring 12 seasonal artisan draft beers. Tickets for tonight go for $50. Look for breweries such as Full Sail, Shiner, Dixie, Firestone, Speakeasy and Metolius at the event.
Tomorrow, the Oktoberfest Pool Party sponsored by Paulaner at The Tank goes from 3 to 9 p.m. More than 200 different international and domestic beers go on sale while a traditional German Oktoberfest band plays. Nosh on brats, pretzels and more.
