Gary Nader Fine Art

Gary Nader, Haute Ambassador of Art, has been spending a good deal of time lately in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. As he relates in his most recent Haute Living Ambassador dispatch, “I’ve been working with principle parties in the region, and what I’m planning to do there is somewhat along the same general lines with what I accomplished in Miami. When I came here, the art culture was extremely limited. Twenty-four years ago, art was embryonic in Miami. I implemented programs that helped the city achieve its strong, relevant presence in today’s art world. The difference is that in the Middle East, there is an opportunity to be much more aggressive. The region is keen to realize its global potential, and part of that is as a world-class cultural hub.” He’s also helping to put on a terrific show at the Musée du Luxembourg:  From Miro to Warhol. The Berardo collection in Paris. Running from October 16 to February 22,  this new major exhibition showcases the Berardo collection, one of the finest collections of modern and contemporary art in Europe, will be showing in Paris.
More than 70 items from this collection of 862 works will be on show at the Musée du Luxembourg and will be presented around four themes: surrealism (Miró, Dali, Ernst, Breton…), abstraction from 1910 to the immediate post-war (Mondrian, Tanguy, Arp…), the confrontation Europe-US of the 1960s with new realism and Pop Art (Warhol, Klein, Soulages, Mitchell…) and creation post-1970 (Schnabel, Stella…).
Don’t miss this exhibition with works from the Lisbon museum of modern art, which, like the collection, bears the name of the wealthy Portuguese entrepreneur José Berardo. The show will be opened by Nicolas Sarkozy, the Prime Minister of France,  and the heads of state and the royal families of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia have been invited. As Nader says, “This exhibition is going to give the impression of how private collections are formed, and to fully embrace their impact. I want to bring it to the Middle East, and hopefully we can do a tour of all the Middle East.” Gary Nader Fine Art offers art lovers and collectors a full range of services to assist private clientele, corporations and museums with the acquisition or sale of Latin American, Modern and Contemporary art and with every aspect of the fastest growing market on the international scene.
