Haute Living: The Pyramids Move to the Big Apple
Historians believe that the pyramids were built as tombs for Pharaohs and their consorts. In the case of the West 57th pyramid-like residential tower however, the only Pharaoh in sight is Bjarke Ingels. BIG, as he is often referred to, is the Danish architect venerated for his “pragmatic utopian architecture”. He stands behind design that is both playful and practical, and he has chosen to develop his first utopia this side of the pond in our own backyard.

Held at Alhambra Palace Restaurant starting at 7 p.m., it will be Sponsored by WBBM Newsradio 780 and 104.3 JACK FM and is all to benefit the American Heart Association. In honor of the festivities, guests are encouraged to sport the color red to go along with the theme.

Haute Fashion: Pucci’s Spring/Summer 2011 Collection Reflects The Spirit of Miami
The sun, 90 degree temperature, sun tans, bikinis, beautiful people, and of course, the beach are all the elements we think about when we envision Miami. People from all over the world flock to Miami to vacation and enjoy the weather and the lifestyle that Miami offers. When coming up with ideas for writing this article, I was doing some research on Emilio Pucci's Creative Director Mr. Peter Dundas. After following Pucci for years and discovering Mr. Dundas, it was his inspiration and designs for his new collection that inspired me and showed a huge similarity between the beauty, color, lifestyle, and weather in Miami to his new Spring/Summer 2011 collection.
