NYDG Foundation: Rx Haiti Fundraising Gala
There was a lot going on last Thursday night in NYC. I had several galas and fetes on my list of places to be, one of which was NYDG Foundation: Rx Haiti. This was a very important event, hosted by some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Mick Jagger, L'Wren Scott, Rachel Weisz, Catherine Zeta Jones, Michelle Williams, Sienna Miller, Jude Law, Helmut Lang, John Currin, Rachel Feinstein, Naomi Watts, Zac Posen, Christopher Niquet, Ranjana Khan, Edie Falco, Margery & Ted Mayer, EJ Camp, and David Colbert MD.

Texas Ballet Theater Holds Fire and Ice Ball in Fort Worth
Last night, the Texas Ballet Theater held their annual fundraiser gala at Chesapeake Plaza, also known as the world headquarters for Pier 1 Imports, in Fort Worth. This year's theme was "Fire and Ice," as evidenced by many attendees' attire, which ranged in fire engine and lipstick reds to icicle and midnight blues. Some of the TBT dancers were also decked out in designs donated by local boutique StanleyKorshak, specifically Naeem Kahn gowns, which were also listed as some of the items to be sold at the live auction later in the evening (accompanied with four seats to their runway show this fall at NYC's Fashion Week.)

I mean, when you can get a beloved former president to show up at your event, that certainly makes quite a statement. In addition to former President Bill Clinton, also seen in the crowd of our country’s greats at the book launch were Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Lizzie Tisch, Gayle King, Marie-Josée Kravis, Harold Ford, Jeff and Nancy Lane, and Nicholas Berggruen.
