Primebar to Offer Stiff Drinks and Hip Music in Scottsdale Quarter

If you’ve seen the sign up on the south side of Scottsdale quarter, you already know: one of Scottsdale Quarter’s newest tenants will be Primebar, serving food made from all fresh local and regional ingredients, as well as an outstanding selection of fine wines, local micro-brews, and handcrafted specialty cocktails.

Scheduled to open May 17, the contemporary 8,300-square-foot Primebar will wrap around the southern end of SQ’s garage area, offering patrons the option to unwind on either the streetside patio or at the main bar inside, behind which is an elevated stage a la the successful Blue Martini at CityNorth. However, that’s not to say Primebar won’t have its own atmosphere and vibe, and its ultra-unique cocktails will be a start. Two we’re looking forward to are the Primo ‘Rita, made with Sauza Hornitos Tequila, Monin Habanero Lime Syrup, agave nectar, fresh sour, and fresh lime juice; and the Mile High Ade, made with Jim Beam Red Stag Cherry Bourbon, Leopold’s Tart Cherry Liqueur, and lemonade, served on the rocks in a highball glass.

Primebar so far has five other locations – Chicago, Denver, Wesley Chapel, Fla., Hallandale Beach, Fla., and Des Peres, Mo. – that are all placed in high-end neighborhoods and cater to a posh crowd. The Primebar in SQ will be no different, guaranteed to be one of the new places to see and be seen in North Scottsdale when it opens in a few weeks.
