Quick Hits: Top Chefs at Travelle Kitchen & Bar
The Langham Hotel’s resident restaurant has spent the summer inviting some of Chicago’s top chefs to be its guests. Travelle Kitchen & Bar’s “Chef Collab” dinner series, which kicked off in June, brings in masters of the local culinary scene to co-create a one-night-only dinner menu alongside its Chef de Cuisine Ricardo Jarquin.
The next event, a collaboration with Boeufhaus Chefs Brian Ahern and Jamie Finnegan, is set for July 27.
The five-course, French and German brasserie-inspired dinner will be presented family style, with chefs from each restaurant creating two dishes for the evening: one appetizer and one entrée (Travelle’s Pastry Chef Scott Green ends the night with dessert). Diners will experience the evening seated at communal tables in the restaurant’s wine cellar, which offers a primo vantage point from which to watch the chefs at work in the space’s show kitchen.

The final “Chef Collab” dinner this summer will feature Tanta Chef Jesus Delgado, and takes place on Thursday, August 17.
