The Ultimate Designer Charity Sale, Fashionably Conscious, Starts Tonight
What started as a simple fundraiser for Coconut Grove Cares’ The Barnyard Community Center has turned into a social and designer-label shopping extravaganza. The concept is simple. Socialites and philanthropists of both the male and female persuasion drop off oh-so-gently-used designer to be resold in the name of charity over the course of one weekend. Enter an all-star host committee which includes chairs Lourdes Jofré-Collett, Raysa Fanjul and Rima Otrakji as well as hosts Sarah Arison, Alicia Cervera, Claudia de la Cruz, Darlene Perez, Alan Randolph, Nina Johnson, Timothy Walker and many more boldface names. The sales takes place on the ground floor of Merrick Park (Suite 1520), begins tonight with a $25 VIP Cocktail Preview and continues on Saturday and Sunday.
