Chicago Interactive Social Club’s Industry Sunday

The Chicago Interactive Social Club (CISC) has announced a new industry event. They are hosting a CISC Industry Party at Chucks Manufacturing (224 N Wabash) this Sunday (January 20) at 6pm. It will be a night of networking for Chicago’s interactive industry insiders. If this is your industry, it’s the perfect opportunity to mingle and network with the “movers and shakers” while enjoying great deals at Chucks. Just bring in your business card and you will get amazing deals like $5 cocktails, 50% off food, $100 bottles of vodka, music from some of the best DJs in the business, and much more.  The event goes until midnight, so take advantage of the next day being MLK day and enjoy a night out. For more information or to RSVP to the event, click here. If you’re unfamiliar with Chucks, check out an excerpt of Haute Living Chicago’s feature on the restaurant below.

Opening last August, Chuck’s has been attracting more and more of downtown’s business professionals. Whether it’s for a power lunch or an after-work meal, this restaurant has been making people believers day in and day out. This 4,000 square-foot restaurant and bar caters to the business professional and lifestyle entrepreneur. For those who don’t know what a lifestyle entrepreneur is, it’s someone who has turned their passion into profit. Someone who is committed to doing what he or she loves to the best of their ability and are determined to succeed at all costs. Chuck’s embodies that spirit and has created an atmosphere that speaks to it.

Entertainment. convenience and liquor are great features, but this is still a restaurant and the most important thing is the food. Chucks and their Chef de Cuisine, Justine Frankenberg, have it covered. They have taken home-style and Chicago classics and reengineered them to create a unique dining experience. One of the standouts is the PBLT, which is the Midwest favorite Pork Belly added to the traditional bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich. My favorite thing on any menu is the Crab Cake and the “CM Crab Cake” passes the test with pancetta, grilled tomato, cornichons, and sweet remoulade. Chef Frankenberg also put a spin on Chicago’s beloved brats with the ‘Trio of CM Brats” which are mini Vienna brats grilled and bathed in Two Brothers Ale, then topped with caramelized onions. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, I would be writing all day if I wanted to highlight all of their great menu items. But if you get there and can’t decide what you want, you can “manufacture” your meal by selecting three menu items and you will receive three tasting portions to create your own customized meal. I think it’s appropriate to say Chucks has all of its bases covered. So whether you’re a lifestyle entrepreneur, live or work downtown, staying at the Hard Rock Hotel (where it’s located), or just hungry, it’s definitely worth checking out.
