News | September 21, 2012

In one of the most over-the-top burglaries in a lifetime, a thief in Santa Monica, California got away with more than $10 million in high-end paintings like Jasper Johns and Piet Mondrian, a red Porsche Carrera, cash, five luxury watches and wine.

Sadly, a gentleman that had been vacationing, returned home only to find out that his property had been burglarized, missing more than $10 million in total, according to a statement released by the police. The burglary took place somewhere between Sept.12 at 3 pm and Sept. 13 at 8 pm.

Police have not released any further information on possible suspects, however, a $1,000 reward has been offered for any one with tips related to the burglary. Also, police have released pictures of the missing art in hopes for an arrest.
