Hotel 1000 and Seattle Art Museum Continue the Curator Series
Hotel 1000, an exclusive member of The Haute Hotel Network, and Seattle Art Museum (SAM), continue their one-of-a-kind “SAM in the Studio” speaker series this fall 2011 and winter 2012.
This series features a monthly presentation by SAM curators on a current or upcoming exhibition and has been brought back due to popular demand. The event takes place in the sophisticated setting of STUDIO 1000 at Hotel 1000, where guests can gain knowledge and insight into the curators’ selections and viewing approach. There are also complimentary hors d’oeuvres from BOKA KITCHEN + BAR served, and wine by the glass available for $3, to benefit Seattle Art Museum.
The next event will take place at Hotel 1000 on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Join Guest Curator at the Seattle Asian Art Museum, Barbara Johns, as she discusses “Painting Seattle: Kamekichi Tokita and Kenjiro Nomura.”
