Haute Event: Chefs in the City
Join Vital Bridges for a Chefs and the City culinary fundraising event on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Primitive art gallery (130 N. Jefferson Street). Sponsored by Gibsons Restaurant Group and RL Restaurant, A Stroll through the Gallery will feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres prepared by some of Chicago’s finest restaurants and chefs while raising funds for Vital Bridges, a non-profit organization that provides services and support to low-income locals living with HIV and AIDS.
Hosted in the beautiful surroundings of Primitive’s multi-floor collection of furniture, artifacts and textiles, guests will enjoy an array of tastings from David Posey of Blackbird, Ryan Poli of Perennial, Andrew Zimmerman of Sepia, Randy Zweiban of Province and Chris Pandel of The Bristol. While sampling the delectable spread and mingling with fellow art enthusiasts, guests will sip champagne, wine and martinis of the highest caliber, featuring Effen Vodka.
Proceeds from A Stroll Through the Gallery will support food, housing, counseling and educational services provided by Vital Bridges to more than 2,000 low-income men, women, and children impacted by HIV and AIDS in metropolitan Chicago.
Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased online at www.vitalbridges.org. For more information or purchase tickets over the phone, contact Andrew Seibert at (773) 271-5117 [email protected].
