Art Basel has come and gone, but its memory still lives on. Some events were so memorable, in fact, that people are still talking about them! This holds true for what was perhaps Art Basel’s most coveted invitation — a private meal hosted by Ferrari at “Villa Allegra,” the grand estate of Miami’s internationally renowned architect Chad Oppenheim. He opened up his 9,000-square-foot mansion for a private dinner for about 25 lucky guests. Aside from the decadent food, beautiful ambiance and first-class dinner companions, guests were also encouraged to test-drive a Ferrari California.
Attendees included Robert Wennet, developer of 1111 Lincoln Road; Andrew Frey, founder of DawnTown; Ali Codina, the filmmaker who won Best Documentary Feature at the Tribeca Film Festival this year; Tony Chambers from Wallpaper, Mario Cader-Frech from MTV, artist Daniel Arsham and more.
