WHERE TO STAY
Perhaps the most-anticipated opening of the summer, LDV Hospitality debuted Barlume Beach this summer in Montauk—a 19-key Mediterranean-inspired hotel and beach club set on 40,000 square feet overlooking Montauk Harbor, where wellness, design, and La Dolce Vita living come together in one waterfront destination.

A haute favorite, Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa is marking its 100th anniversary this summer as the only year-round oceanfront resort in Montauk, celebrating the milestone with the return of the Dolce & Gabbana Beach Club takeover, a La Prairie wellness pop-up, the first full summer season of gigi’s Montauk, and a landmark lineup of new culinary and lifestyle experiences. A century in, Gurney’s remains the defining address of the East End.

Montauk Yacht Club, the 16-acre waterfront property on Star Island, returns for 2026 with an elevated lineup of seasonal programming, including a floating ELEMIS wellness cabana, pro-led surf experiences with Jamie O’Brien Surf School, the debut of The Salty Club family program, lakeside tennis, padel, and pickleball courts, and the opening of ALBA Spiaggia.
WHERE TO DINE
The Hamptons dining scene is arriving strong this summer, with a mix of new openings and returning favorites that cover every mood and hour. Nourish opens in Bridgehampton under acclaimed Balinese chef Dewa Wijaya, weaving East End seasonal ingredients with global influences, while ALBA Spiaggia brings Executive Chef Adam Leonti’s Holiday Italian concept to a waterfront setting at Montauk Yacht Club.

Maison Close makes its Southampton debut at the Capri Southampton, bringing Parisian cabaret energy and French bistro cuisine to the East End, and Elaia Estiatorio in Bridgehampton remains the Hamptons’ only true Greek table, owned by Chris Boudouris and Sofia Crokos, returning with a refreshed seasonal menu and carefully curated Greek wines.

For something more casual, The Boat House at EHP is an all-day Italian-style café overlooking the marina, serving Roman-style pizza and Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee alongside grab-and-go fare. Bagatelle Montauk returns May 20th at Gosman’s Dock with its signature French Riviera energy and music-filled evenings by the water, while Crazy Pizza is back for its second Hamptons season with spinning chefs, live DJ sets, and hand-tossed thin-crust pies in a 100-seat space with al fresco dining. The Tusk Bar returns for a second summer residency at Moby’s in East Hampton, bringing its celebrated oyster station and golden-hour cocktail culture to the East End, and Dante brings its award-winning cocktail program to The Pridwin Hotel on Shelter Island with weekly Martini & Mahjong nights every Sunday. Rounding it all out, Chelsea Living Room East opened within Gurney’s Dune Lounge in Montauk, bringing its martini-forward program, dim lighting, and Chelsea After Dark late-night series to the oceanfront.
And of course, there are Hamptons staples like Surf Lodge returning with iconic music lineups, CHANEL finding a new East Hampton home, and more. Keep refreshing our guide as we will continue to update it throughout the summer.
