The Seagate Hotel is One of Delray Beach’s Most Luxurious Resorts — Here’s Why
Delray Beach has always had charm. What it now has, unmistakably, is a world-class luxury resort. The Seagate Hotel, Golf & Beach Club—situated on Atlantic Avenue just steps from the ocean—completed a $55 million transformation and joined Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection in November 2025, cementing its position as the most complete luxury property on this stretch of South Florida’s coast. Under the stewardship of Turnberry, the award-winning developer behind Aventura Mall and JW Marriott Nashville, The Seagate has been reimagined from the inside out—and the results are exceptional.

The property’s 157 guestrooms and suites were redesigned by Watts & Dray using a palette of sand-hued limewash and Dutch blue, hand-painted Delft tiles imported from Amsterdam, custom rugs by Marc Phillips, and Le Labo bath amenities throughout. Every material choice reflects Turnberry’s commitment to craftsmanship and a deep sense of place. It’s coastal elegance without a single cliché.

The Seagate Beach Club—a two-story oceanfront destination redesigned by Saguez & Dash—anchors the waterfront experience with panoramic ocean dining, a refreshed pool deck, and a new cocktail bar and terrace lounge. Named USA Today’s Best Beach in Florida, the club is available to both hotel guests and the property’s more than 650 active members. Add a 44-slip marina at The Seagate Yacht Club, a renovated 18-hole championship golf course designed by J. Drew Rogers, and tennis and pickleball courts, and the recreational programming here is genuinely unmatched in the area.

On the culinary front, Bourbon Steak by Michelin-starred chef and former Haute Living cover star Michael Mina brings serious dining credentials to Palm Beach County—it’s the chef’s first restaurant in the region. The dining room, envisioned by Martin Brudnizki, is all sumptuous restraint. Guests can also explore Mr. Seas for relaxed beachside dining, Venetian Street for Italian-inspired small plates and cocktails, and The Gate Café for artisan coffee and pastries throughout the day.
Then there is the spa—and this spring, it got even better. In May 2026, The Seagate Spa debuted a curated menu of coastal-inspired treatments developed exclusively in partnership with Naturopathica, the holistic skincare and wellness brand founded in 1995 and known for its botanical formulations and results-driven protocols. The collaboration, which launched over Mother’s Day weekend, brings Naturopathica’s integrative approach to The Seagate’s 8,000-square-foot wellness sanctuary.

The treatment menu is built around marine botanicals, mineral-rich ingredients, and sensory ritual. The Calming Coastal Facial addresses visible redness and strengthens the skin barrier using probiotics, ceramides, and microalgae. The Atlantic Glow Facial deploys Vitamin C and fruit enzymes to restore luminosity and refine texture. On the body side, the Atlantic Glow Massage pairs antioxidant-rich oils with rhythmic technique, while the Ocean Recovery Massage delivers targeted deep-tissue work for guests who need real physical restoration. Mineral-rich seaweed wraps, exfoliating body polishes, and a Sea Breeze Scalp Treatment round out a menu that feels as considered as the property itself.
