The Chicago Fire Go in on New Bar for All Your Soccer Needs

If you’re still suffering some postpartum World Cup withdrawal, rest assured, your hangover just got a pick me up. The Chicago Fire just went in on a new sports bar, and surprise, it’s soccer-themed for all your game-watching action.
The Pitch (the English word for a soccer field, not to be confused with many similarly named Wrigleyville spots) is a collaboration between the technical director of the Chicago Fire and the owners of Rocks. An enormous three-level brick and suede sports bar with 30 screens, fooseball and soccer memorabilia to boot (catch the pun) is a football lover’s dream. Arrive early for the European games or to root on the hometown team, while sipping one of the 12 beers on tap.

With 15 different dipping sauces including Rock’s Maker’s Mark, Jalapeno Mao, and Angry! this is a real guy’s sports bar. Featuring homemade upscale pizzas, burgers and sandwiches, the highlight of the menu has to be the deep fried Snicker’s bar.
