STK Steakhouse Is Now Open at the W Los Angeles, Plus More Plush Additions

W Hotel

The W Los Angeles—West Beverly Hills has completed its $25 million renovation, and we have to say it’s pretty lush.

Designed by Dawson Design Associates, the hotel now features 297 newly re-imagined suites, including an Extreme WOW suite, the W brand’s take on the Presidential Suite, which comes with a state-of-the-art screening room. While maintaining a bold and modern design, each suite is decked out with sleek sectional sofas and sophisticated lighting as well as louvered windows and filtered light, inducing the feeling of seclusion within a Beverly Hills garden retreat.

“Our goal was to create an engaging and energetic luxury experience rich in texture and ambiance that allows guests to capture the intrigue and illusion indicative of Los Angeles,” said Andrea Dawson Sheehan , the Firms Design Director.

The West Hollywood steakhouse STK, which was once located on La Cienega Boulevard, is now located on the hotel’s premises. STK has replaced the restaurant NineThirty and the lobby lounge Whiskey Blue. It will also provide an updated menu concept at WET, the ground-level pool featuring classic California-style cabanas.

The $25 million renovations also include a W Living Room with effervescent lights that sync with there is a 12 foot water wall, reflecting ever-changing projections.

“The completion of this multi-million dollar renovation marks the beginning of the next chapter for W Los Angeles– West Beverly Hills,” said Mark Eberwein, General Manager. “Whether visiting us for work or for play, our stunning new design and prime location allow guests to find a true escape within bustling Los Angeles.”

The new event spaces are the ideal destination for press trips, weddings, conferences, meetings and other events for the next generation of luxury travelers. However, if you’re simply looking for R&R, guests have access to the signature 7,000 square foot BLISS spa that features ten treatment rooms, movie-while-you-manicure nail stations, luxe men and women’s lounges, the Bliss Spa store and more.

“W Los Angeles – West Beverly Hills has always been beloved by guests and locals alike, and this multimillion dollar transformation signals the next era for the hotel,” said Anthony Ingham , Global Brand Leader for W Hotels. “As part of our overall strategy alongside our ownership groups, we continue to invest in our North American portfolio ensuring first-class service, modern design and innovative guest experience.”
