Earlier this month, more than 600 of Miami’s most influential professionals, fashion elite and local dignitaries gathered together to celebrate Swire Properties’ launch of Brickell City Centre’s second condominium tower, Rise. This dance- and drink-all-night soirée was accompanied by a cocktail reception, live outdoor concert and exclusive fashion installation by the building’s soon-to-be anchoring storefront, Saks Fifth Avenue — the only party fitting for an opening of this caliber.
To kick-off the evening, Swire Properties’ Senior Vice President of Sales, Maile Aguila toasted to the property’s success, while master of beats Pablito Drum transformed Brickell Avenue into a city block party with a special Miami-flavored Latin percussion and dance performance. Throughout the night, guests of the event benefited from drinks, delectable food, an exclusive sneak-peak of a special Saks Fifth Avenue installation featuring top-of-the-line designer wear, and of course, a first-hand look at the project’s larger-than-life scale building model and elegant condominium showrooms.
Together with its sister condominium tower, Reach, Rise will form a 5.4-million square-foot development worth $1.05 billion; one that includes a shopping center, a luxury dine-in cinema, an EAST, Miami hotel, two “Class A” office buildings and two floors of underground parking. The success of Reach, which has already sold 75% of its properties since its inception, spurred advanced sales of Rise. This undertaking, which is currently one of the largest construction projects in the country, is the area’s first true cosmopolitan mecca.
As the largest private-sector project currently under construction in Miami, Brickell City Centre is scheduled for completion by the end of 2015, with a second phase of construction beginning in 2016.
