It’s not just five o’clock somewhere, it’s five o’clock here. So where are you going to get a drink that’s hot for happy hour in Miami? Try one of these great places.
1 Smith and Wollensky
This happy hour is an oldie but goodie. Aside from ordering solid American bites, it's popular because of it's outside bar situated right on the waterway. And Friday evening is prime cruise ship watching time.
1 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
2 Edge Steak and Bar
Edge Steak and Bar is located at the posh Four Seasons right on Brickell and is a prime after-5 location for bankers, lawyers and Miami's power brokers. But even they appreciate half-priced drinks and $1 Oysters during happy hour.
Four Seasons Hotel Miami, 1435 Brickell Ave, Miami, FL 33131
3 St. Regis Bar & Wine Vault
The St. Regis Bar offers a variety of drinks from four different spins to their Bloody Mary to a insanely large collection of wines. They also have live music every night to entertain hotel guests and locals alike.
9703 Collins Avenue, Bal Harbour, Fl. 33154
4 Hillstone on Miracle Mile
Its all a bit confusing because it used to be called Houstons, but essentially, its still the same place. Good for a quick lunch or dinner and crammed with local bankers, dentists and even a few developers come five or six oclock. The best nights to enjoy happy hour here are Thursdays.
201 Miracle Mile Coral Gables, FL 33134
Monty's is now owned by the same folks as Sushi Samba and it's food, menu and atmosphere has taken many steps up from the dive you remember. Sure, it's still a very casual spot with live music that gets packed by 7pm on a Friday, but now they've got the best lobster rolls in Miami — and that's saying a lot.
300 Alton Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139 (305) 672-1148
