Little Market Brasserie (10 East Delaware) has launched a Melts for Meals initiative that will benefit the Meal on Wheels Chicago program. This is something that is very near and dear to my heart, I have seen how the Meals on Wheels program has helped out many of Chicago’s seniors and people living with disabilities. It delivers meals right to their front door, and in some cases it may be all they have to eat. So I salute Chef Ryan Poli and the people of Little Market Brasserie and Mercadito Hospitality for getting involved with such a great organization.
“Mercadito Hospitality has always valued giving back to the community, first through Tacos for Strength at Mercadito and then with Amigos de Pinxto and Taps for Tap at Tavernita. We knew that Meals on Wheels Chicago would be a wonderful partner and are excited to be able to support them with this fun initiative,” says Alfredo Sandoval, managing partner in Mercadito Hospitality.
Melts on Wheels will see a series of guest chefs putting a fun twist on classic dish, the grilled cheese sandwich. Each month will feature a different guest chef, and Chef Poli has announced the first six:
