Alicia Keys doesn’t need smoke machines and pyrotechnics to “Set the World on Fire.” The 14-time Grammy award winning winning Grammy artist kicked off 2013 North American World Tour last week and blew fans and critics away with her enviable vocals and killer wardrobe.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, Keys is keeping her signature streamlined look on stage with help from top fashion designers Akris, Michael Kors, Hervé Léger and Maison Michel. Stylist Laura Jones worked closely with Albert Kriemler of Akris to create the perfect wardrobe for Keys.

“While Albert was designing his fall ready-to-wear collection, I was in the beginning stages of planning for Alicia’s tour,” Jones explained. “When we began to collaborate on the her wardrobe, he found great ways to take the spirit of the collection and translate it into a series of show-worthy looks. Alicia loves fashion but she ultimately likes to keep her wardrobe uncomplicated, so we wanted to keep the silhouette clean and really focus on on great fabrics and flattering shapes.”
