Giordano Dance Company has gracefully slid into its 50th season. That’s a half-century of thrilling audiences with American jazz dance. Originally founded by world-renowned dance master Gus Giordano, the company is now run by his daughter Nan. The dance company recently relocated downtown just blocks away from the Harris Theatre where Giordano Dance Company will be celebrating this milestone with performances and an After-Performance Gala on March 23, 2013 starting at 7:30PM. (Note that there will be performances on March 21-23, but the Gala will be held on March 23rd.)

The performance part of the celebration will include a world premiere by choreographer Liz Imperio as well as many of their favorites from their vast repertoire. The event will be held at Harris Theatre for Music and Dance in Millennium Park (205 E Randolph) and will have an open bar, hors d’oeuvres and elegant desserts. The performance will be on the Pritzker Pavilion Stage behind the Theatre and will be starting promptly at 7:30, followed immediately by the Gala. Tickets for the event are $200 per person for the Gala Package, and $500 per person for the VIP Signature Experience.
