Kristin Jackson has a varied background, offering full-service marketing, advertising and public relations consulting to a wide-range clients in the retail, commercial and entertainment industries. As owner of Jackson INK, she has represented prominent non-profit organizations, famed show Baywatch Hawaii, and was the Unit Publicist for the hit show, LOST. Select current clients include Ballet Hawaii, Hawaii Theater and Morimoto Waikiki. Through her well-known clients and their complimenting events alone, Jackson certainly knows what’s haute in Hawaii.

Although a hole-in-the wall, Malee’s Thai in the Maunakea Marketplace is the best Thai in town.
Baci Bistro in Kailua.
Best place for late night dining:
Side Street Inn, especially now that it’s in my neighborhood.
I love the Junior’s Cheesecake at Wolfgang’s. It’s worth skipping dinner and going straight to dessert. But, if you’re gluten free like me, you have to try the Peanut Butter bomb at Morimoto’s.

All-around favorite spot in Hawaii:
Because I work so much and it’s all social, my favorite place to be is at home or in the water in an outrigger canoe.

The Waikiki EDITION – it’s the hippest spot in town!

Kahala Mall – There are so many fun shops there now for girly clothes at a reasonable price.
Best place to buy Jewelry/Watches:
There’s a kiosk at Kahala Mall that has really cute jewelry.
I always go to the Aveda Salon at Ala Moana. Their body polishes are to die for.

Best Aspect of Hawaii:
Being able to put my feet in grass every day. We are completely surrounded by beauty, which helps me deal with the stresses of life and work.
Wolfgang’s has the most amazing steaks, but you have to try the Canadian bacon appetizer too, but not if you’re on a diet.
Boston’s North End Pizza
Bangkok Chef has great Thai food – easy and cheap!
Best Gym/Athletic Facility:
The Honolulu Club
Hip hop producer Tricky Stewart said he had the best massage of his life at the spa at The Waikiki EDITION. I haven’t had time to check it out yet.
The Bishop Museum. I really enjoy learning about the history of Hawaii.
Favorite historic/legendary place to see or explore:
Shangri La – I just wish I could live there.
