The 2012 Miami International Film Festival Presents Over 100 Films

For 29 consecutive years, The Miami International Film Festival (MIFF) has brought the finest artists together to showcase the unique range of talent found in the city of Miami, promote cultural expression and exemplify the city’s relevance in the film industry. This year, MIFF will be presenting over 100 films including the critically acclaimed Cuban zombie comedy Juan of the Dead by Alejandro Brugues.

The festival has also attracted the attention of many film executives because of one particular film entitled Darling Companion by native “Miamian” and director Lawrence Kasdan. The film’s cast includes some of Hollywood’s most talented actors, including: Diane Keaton, Kevin Kline, Richard Jenkins, Dianne Wiest, Sam Shepard, Mark Duplass, and Elisabeth Moss. The screening of the film will include a discussion with Kevin Kline, Richard Jenkins and the filmmakers themselves.
