Los Angeles Halloween Guide From The Lifestyle Consultants At VIP-LA

Halloween in LA is always a good time full of ghosts, ghouls, and of course, the sexy ____(Fill in the blank with a costume of choice)’s walking the streets of Hollywood looking for the best events and hottest parties to attend. From open-to-all events at amusement parks to ultra-exclusive private parties, VIP-LA has your insider information for all things LA, that go bump in the night.

Universal Studios goes all out to re-create some of the scariest scenes, haunted houses, and rides known to man. We attended last year’s haunted event and it was awesome! Horrifying attractions themed around scary movies and urban legends create a great night of fright. Some of the attractions include Eli Roth’s Hostel: Hunting Season, Rob Zombie’s House of 1,000 Corpses in 3D, La Llorona and many more. Get a group together and head over to Universal Studios any night before Halloween. Visit the event’s website for more information and get your tickets here.

Griffith Park’s old zoo takes on a twisted Halloween theme for the month of October. Designed to scare you to death(almost), you and your group ride in the back of a hay tractor through the zoo following the story of the Clifton twins and the nightmares they succumbed to. Visit the event’s website for more information and get your tickets here.

Every weekend in October you can celebrate the haunted Halloween season at the Queen Mary in Long Beach as the annual scare-fest takes on a horrifying new dimension. 15 fright-filled nights of mazes and madness, food and cocktails, and live bands are sure to be a horrifically good time. Dark Harbor promises a haunted experience unlike any you’ve ever had.

Not for the weak at heart, Knott’s Scary Farm is an extreme take on all of the senses. The lighting, fog and music throughout the entire park make it incredibly hard to focus on what lurks in the shadows. To find out what is lurking in the shadows is for only the brave at heart. The mazes and attractions leave no room to run. You are set bait, put right into the action. Visiting the Haunt is like participating in a first-rate horror film, except you are not quite convinced that it is only a movie – that somehow the actors are the characters and that you are caught right in the middle of it. Knott’s Scary Farm is the most fun you will have being scared.
