Legends of Tennis, a show competition featuring Safin, Kafelnikov, Ivanisevic, Moya and Bjorn Borg took place over the weekend at the Samaranch Tennis Center in Moscow. As any sporting occasion of such scale, the event drew a huge nod of recognition and gathered Moscow A-listers at courts watching the action and later at the reception celebrating the Cup.

The Tennis Legends tournament included 5 matches (four singles and one double). Two teams competed in the event: Team Russia and Stars of the World. Team Russia, captained by Shamil Tarpishchev, included famous sportsmen like Yevgeny Kafelnikov and Marat Safin (Dasha Zhukova former flame). They took on Goran Ivanisevic and Carlos Maya from Stars of the World, captained by illustrious Björn Borg. The players have 17 Grand Slam singles titles between them, 11 of which are held by Borg.

Apart from exciting competition between tennis stars spectators were also offered plenty of entertainment and shows.

This year The Longines swiss watchmaker became an official partner of the tournament. It was a perfect opportunity for the brand to showcase Longines Sports Watches Admiral Ceramic, made in the new version. It features automatic ETA A07 171, revised in L704 caliber, which has 46 hours power reserve.
Sponsor watches were presented to the winners of the tournament, which happened to be (to the delight of the audience of course) – the Russian team.
