Haute Dining: Seven-Course Dinner and a Movie at Drago Centro

Celestino Drago, the Godfather of Los Angeles Italian cuisine will host a dinner and a movie of epic, corruptive proportions.

For one night only, on Saturday, March 12, the famed restaurateur will lure guests into his exquisite, state-of-the-art exhibition kitchen/private dining room (the City National Bank’s actual former vault) at Drago Centro with a seven-course tasting menu and a showing of the original The Italian Job.

Paired with a wine from a different region in Italy, each course will showcase Drago’s critically worshiped rustic, refined fare. Set to be devoured against a backdrop of intricate heists, Michael Caine’s quirky one-liners, and picturesque views of the Italian Alps: a lobster salad accompanied by blood orange caviar, delicate rabbit risotto, and Vahlrona chocolate mousse expertly seated next to basil gelato.

The evening sounds too good to be true, right? Not really. Spots are limited and booking ends tomorrow, so visit UrbanDaddy Perks as soon as possible.

Drago Centro is located at 525 S. Flower St., Los Angeles, 213. 228.8998.
