MF Husain Honored at Art Dubai Fair
Husain, known as the Picasso of India, is acclaimed for bringing Indian Modern Art to the international scope. He regularly attended Art Dubai before his untimely passing on June 9, 2011. The fair will honor him with a screening of his film, “Through the Eyes of a Painter,” made in 1967. The 18-minute film, set in Rajasthan, India has won numerous accolades including the Golden Bear award at the Berlin Film Festival.
