Alice + Olivia may just be taking over LA. OK, not quite — but the luxury fashion label has opened its third location in the City of Angels.

Bentley’s Flying Spur made its LA debut on Friday night with a haute bash at a very apt venue. The British luxury car company feted its sleek new vehicle at the rooftop pool of the London West Hollywood.

Cambridge-raised star Ben Affleck had a message for his fellow Bostonians in the wake of Monday’s double bombing during the Boston Marathon: love. The 40-year-old Argo director posted on a message on his Facebook page, writing: “Such a senseless and tragic day. My family and I send our love to our beloved and resilient Boston.”

M·A·C celebrated its new Baking Beauties color collection in Beverly Hills last week, transforming its Robertson PRO store into a colorful patisserie. The collection, inspired by the art of cake décor, was brought to life in the form of three models, who wore full body paint to emulate the designs of the new products’ cake topping-like designs.
