LA saw its second couture burglary in the last month this week. 3.1 Phillip Lim’s West Hollywood boutique was the target of a robbery around 4 A.M. Monday morning.

Drew Barrymore is pregnant with her second child. The 38-year-old actress’ rep confirmed the news that she and art consultant husband Will Kopelman are expecting after a photo surfaced that clearly showed off a baby bump.

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) toasted its hautest event of the season on Saturday evening at its third annual Art+Film Gala. $4.1 million was raised at the event, which honored artist David Hockney and Academy Award-winning director Martin Scorsese and was co-chaired by Scorsese staple Leonardo DiCaprio and LACMA trustee Eva Chow.

Martin Scorsese was apologetic that he couldn’t be on hand to present the world premiere of the newly restored Rebel Without a Cause, but he very nicely sent a stand-in: his frequent star, Leonardo DiCaprio. The 38-year-old actor explained to the crowd gathered at LACMA on Friday evening that the director was “stuck in New York finishing our film Wolf of Wall Street.”

NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts had a big night on the west coast this week when it threw a gala in LA. Hollywood heavyweights Oliver Stone and Working Title President Liza Chasin were honored during the event, which also raised $1 million for the school.

Saint Angelina (Jolie) has done yet another charitable deed. A barrel of organic wine produced by the A-list actress and partner Brad Pitt’s French winery, Chateau Miraval, has been auctioned off for $13,000, with the funds going to support an agricultural project in Africa.
