Oprah Winfrey had the mother of all yard sales over the weekend as she auctioned off $600,000 worth of furniture, art and antiques from her Santa Barbara estate.
Proceeds from the sale went to the 59-year-old media giant’s Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa.
The event reportedly took up three tents of the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club.
Items from the sale included a set of six 18th-century Louis XVI armchairs with hand-embroidered details, two 13-ft. long crushed velvet sofas and a 16-by-20-inch print of a TV Guide cover photo of Winfrey.
