Miami’s beloved food & wine-centric weekend came and conquered in the Magic City, bringing in a fantastic lineup of Award-winning chefs, celebrities, socialites and food and wine connoisseurs for the SOBEWFF on Miami Beach. The signature tents lined the sandy beaches of Collins Avenue, hotels were packed with unbeatable programming and events, and guests arrived hungry and ready to indulge in some of the greatest food & beverage offerings in the country as they all gathered together to celebrate. Here’s a look at some of the highlights of the 2019 SOBEWFF:

This year’s honorees included two female powerhouses: Chef Nancy Silverton from Los Angeles haute eatery Osteria Mozza, and Rhonda Carono, CEO of Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery. Here, they made history as the Festival honored two females during the pinnacle Tribute Dinner at the Loews Hotel in Miami Beach for the first time ever.
HEINEKEN LIGHT BURGER BASH PRESENTED BY SHWEID & SONS

The fan-favorite Burger Bash brought in a stellar lineup of guest judges, including Foodgöd aka Jonathan Cheban, Al Roker, Rev Run, Samantha Shnur aka @thenaughtyfork, Roxanne Vargas and Enrique Santos who chose this year’s winning burger—the beloved Pincho Burger from Pincho Miami. Event hosts were David Burtka and Neil Patrick Harris.
THE DAVID GRUTMAN EXPERIENCE AT GOYA FOODS’ GRAND TASTING VILLAGE

Perhaps the most lively experience of the weekend, David Grutman and his Groot Hospitality brought some signature Miami flair to the Festival as they closed out the weekend with the David Grutman Experience at Goya Foods’ Grand Tasting Village. The event incorporated a mini LIV Miami pop-up with live performances by Ludacris and Cedric Gervais. Fans even went as far as to boast large cut-outs of Grutman and his daughter Kaia, as well as Ludacris, waving around in the audience. Guests enjoyed Groot Hospitality offerings, other delicious delicacies from Miami and national spots, as well as drinks from Moët and Belvedere Vodka.

Legendary chefs Katie Lee, Bobby Flay, David Burtka with husband Neil Patrick Harris as well over a dozen more were spotted at W South Beach this weekend for the annual South Beach Food & Wine Festival in Miami. As the hub for the highest concentration of celebrity chefs, W South Beach hosted a series of star-studded events including Geoffrey Zakarian’s Food Talk Sirius Radio Show and private chef-only after party event at The Dutch, Andrew Carmellini’s Chicken Coupe with Michael Lewis, Jeff McInnis and Diego Oka and more.
Ketel One Family-Made Vodka x Wine N Dine Present New Taste of South Beach

Guests arrived at the iconic Versace Mansion to enjoy the Ketel One Family-Made Vodka x Wine N Dine event. Notable attendees including model Chanel Iman and husband Sterling Shepard showed up to party poolside with the chefs and enjoyed dishes made by host Chef JJ in collaboration with the famed Hattie B’s Hot Chicken and Sublime Doughnuts.
FONTAINEBLEAU MIAMI BEACH PRESENTS WINE SPECTATOR’S BEST OF THE BEST

The Fontainebleau Miami Beach once again hosted one of the Festival’s most coveted ticketed events, inviting 60 of the nation’s top chefs to showcase their most gourmet samplings to pair with over 100 wines rated 90 points or higher on Wine Spectator’s scale.

Celebrity chef and TV personality Guy Fieri hosted his famous beachside BBQ celebration with the Festival to a sold-out audience ready to party the night away and enjoy delicious bites and drinks. According to the SOBEWFF, Fieri helped round up more than 30 of the nation’s top grill maestros offer mouth-watering creations of beef, pork, poultry and more cooked low and slow to serve up both classic and non-traditional barbecue flavors. Additionally, guests were treated to a live country-rock performance by GRAMMY® Award-nominated artist Cassadee Pope.
