wellNEST Studio Opens in the Hamptons

News | July 1, 2011

The new Bhakti yoga and healing arts complex, wellNEST Studio, has recently opened its doors in the charming village of Sag Harbor. This new escape-spot is an expansion of the wellNEST boutique, which offers every eco-friendly, holistic necessity you could ever dream of—in addition to a bounty of fine organic foods and vitamins. Originators of the studio sought to develop a refuge where the community could gather; collaborating on healing arts and expression.

“WellNEST is our Sag Harbor home base where we promote a healthy mind, body, and soul, so WellNEST Studio was just a natural progression.  Our goal is to not only heal on a cellular level, but to experience change on a ‘soul-ular’ level as well. The Studio allows us to take our message a step further, fostering personal awakening and creating a profound platform for individualized expansion,” elaborates Rachel Paletsky co-owner of wellNEST and wellNEST Studio. (Richard Ash, MD, who founded The Ash Center in New York City, is another owner of the center.)

WellNEST Studio has tapped Marueen Dodd to lead the Bhakti yoga program and serve as healing arts director. Dodd is a long-time veteran of Vinyasa and Kripalu yoga, sacred movement, meditation, spiritual mentorship, Ayurvedic and therapeutic bodywork, as well as Sufi.

The wellNEST Studio officially states that its mission “is to provide a serene, inspirational, and sacred space for individuals to explore various practices including arts, yoga, and spirituality.” Through these various healing arts the studio seeks “to expand the potential for lifestyle adjustments and positive, sustainable change… for a more high-impact, unifying path to inner peace, physical balance, and health.”

The Studio, located a few blocks from wellNEST, on 51 Division Street, has plans for numerous healing collaborations and events all summer long. For more information, check out their website.
