On Thursday, July 11, Markethouse (611 N. Fairbanks Ct.), the farm-to-table restaurant that focuses on American comfort food favorites with a contemporary twist, will launch its local artisan dinner series. To kick-off the series, Executive Chef De’Ann Wellwerts has created an exclusive, four-course menu in collaboration with Odd Produce, the Chicago-based company providing some of the city’s finest restaurants with locally sourced, farmed, and foraged produce.

“The collaboration between our team and Odd Produce pays homage to Markethouse’s farm-to-table philosophy,” says Executive Chef De’Ann Wellwerts. “We’ll continue to support local artisans and purveyors, as well as utilize our massive rooftop garden to give Markethouse guests the ultimate local and sustainable dining experience.”

The dinner with wine and cocktail pairings will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Markethouse. The cost of the launch dinner is just $39 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity. The dinner will mark the first of three artisans dinners executed by Markethouse, with the others taking place on August 8 and September 12 with to-be-announced artisans.
