Apres-Inspired Cocktails at the Chefs Club Aspen

Fresh Powder
The Aspen

If fresh powder is as good as it gets on the ski slopes, then the namesake cocktail at the the Chefs Club has its proper place at the top of the drink list. Fresh Powder is made with Bulleit bourbon, Smith & Cross rum, Ximenez sherry and Leopold fernet for a distinguished drink created specifically for this mountain dining experience.

Jim Meehan curates the drink menu at the Chefs Club by Food & Wine inside the St. Regis Aspen. He’s the managing partner of James Beard award-winning PDT restaurant in New York City. Combine his expertise with the robust talent coming from the Best New Chefs, and the dinner and drinks menu is a unique list of the best the country has to offer in the culinary world.

Also on Meehan’s list is the Aspen, made with Stranahan’s Colorado whiskey, Dolin Blanc vermouth, Quinta de Noval black port and Peychaud’s bitters. If it’s cold outside, this smooth-sipping and good-looking drink will warm from the inside-out.
