High-end department store chain Neiman Marcus has introduced a new interactive way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of famed shoe designer Christian Louboutin with their Sole Seekers social media challenge.

Hosted through Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Nieman Marcus’ blog, Sole Seekers is an interactive social media campaign that encourages participants to submit photos of their Louboutin shoes (or ones they see in Neiman Marcus). At stake? A pair of Christina Louboutins, of course.

Ron Schott, senior strategist at Spring Creek Group in Seattle, said, “Neiman Marcus has done a great job in the past bringing together their own community with that of designers and brands and this the newest promotion is a continuation of that. This definitely seems like a great promotion that is playing off the well-known love for the Christian Louboutin brand.”

“Affluent consumers who are already fans of the brand will definitely look for a way to show their affinity for the brand and the contest’s entry bar is definitely set low enough to encourage participation,” he said.

Participants must submit photos through Instagram or Twitter and include @NeimanMarcus, @LouboutinWorld and #NMLoubiLove in the caption to be qualified to win the shoes.  Participants can enter as many times as they want, however a different image must be submitted each time. All images are eventually aggregated into a single online screen on a pictoral sprea. Once the contest is over, an album of images will be placed on Facebook and on the Neiman Marcus blog. The winner will be selected at random on March 10.

To close the campaign, Neiman Marcus will have a 20th anniversary Christian Louboutin Capsule Collection of 20 shoe styles inspired by past collections available in Neiman Marcus stores in Atlanta; Bal Harbour, FL; Beverly Hills, CA; Coral Gables, FL; Newport Beach, CA; King of Prussia, PA; Chicago; Dallas; Palm Beach, FL; and San Francisco.
